Hi, my name is Ericka. I got accepted to UMHS for the fall 2010 semester. As you have already started, what can you tell me about the school? How many students approximately?If you obtain loans, was it difficult to apply for it?
How are the classes so far? As it's a new school ,I am kinda scared about not being able to practice in the US. Do you know if the diploma from UMHS will be recognized in States? I would appreciate your answer.
Well so far i really like the school. our class was the biggest class so far, 96 incoming med 1 i think. Anywaysthere are loans that you can get through various school if you get a mba program and they give you loans based on the online classes you take. I think direct loans are not offered for the school yet. I am paying straight cash for my schooling. Everything is going great though in terms of classes. first semester i am taking histology, anatomy, and cell bio. The classesa are not too bad so far, but we shall see what happens after the first block exams. Everyonein our class is really nice and helpful. the faculty is great and supportive aswell. UMHS has the neccessary things in order to practice in teh states. it is a new school so they havent had anyone fully complete the program yet. I would ask your advisor these kinds of question as everything is being constantly updated and the school seems to be growing in different ways everyday. These last 2 weeks they have been building an outdoor cafeteria type place for students to eat.
